Corporate Incentive Programs – Value of Sites Inspections

Five airline transfers, four days, three island, seven resorts, 1.69 GB of video and photos…amazing trip to Hawaii to evaluate resorts for a 2011 incentive.  The importance of completing site inspections can never be overlooked.  Would you buy a house  based only on price, what the agent tells you  and photos off the internet?   That would be crazy!  So if corporations are investing 100’s of thousands of dollars on an incentive program, conducting a site inspection is non-negotiable.   

The site inspection allows a complete evaluation including the overall flow of the property, surrounding areas and impacts like construction, cruise ships that come in to port and heavy beach use, creative venue options, experiencing the resort’s normal guest demographics (business vs. international vs family vs  time share clientele, guestroom view categories, renovation and upgrades and the ability to negotiate real-time with the sales manager for additional cost reduction options and added concessions.
